Bragg Gratings Written with Ultrafast Laser Pulses

This work describes the production of optical fiber Bragg gratings written using ultrafast laser pulses of the order of 100 fs through point-by-point and phase mask methods. Some samples were thermally regenerated and characterized at high temperatures. The obtained results do not show differences in the thermal behavior when compared to gratings recorded using an Excimer laser
